Lead Programmer/Analyst for the Non-Recurring Charges Engine application after a year on team and directed two coworkers. Involved in entire system life cycle of the Non-Recurring Charges Engine, a table-driven, independent, on-line subsystem that applies all appropriate one-time charges for specific types of customer activity. The system is coded in a combination of COBOL, SQL on a DB2 platform, and CICS. Responsibilities included requirements management, work plan analysis, database design, detailed design, coding, performance enhancement, chain test, system test, integration test support, and production support. Developed skills in COBOL, SQL, CICS, Computer Associates’ InterTest, SmartTest, JCL, FileAid for DB2, Programmers’ Workbench, and all Microsoft Office Applications.
