-Initiate development and lead the design team in the execution for 4 seasonal collections across all categories (hard and soft wovens, knits, sweaters) from concept to bulk shipment. -Work collaboratively with the creative director to build the line plan, establish seasonal direction and sketch silhouettes that accurately reflect brand integrity. -Direct the design team in development of seasonal color palettes, mood boards and sourcing of new fabrics and trims according to delivery and target price point. -Execute all development tech packs through detailed flat hand sketches and/or muslin drapes to hand off for both overseas and domestic sample rooms for 1st protos to SMS. -Daily communication with sample and production vendors to maintain design and production schedules and achieve key calendar dates. -Direct all development and production fittings, resolving fit issues, communicating comments to overseas and domestic factories and completing bulk grades across all garment categories.

Design, Tech Design, Product Development

-Design and develop product across knits, woven and fully-fashioned sweaters in all categories for a seasonal boutique collection, and accompanying private label product. -Establish seasonal direction, concepts and trends. -Create mood boards and color stories, and select all fabrics, yarns, stitches and prints for each season. -Work collaboratively with the sales and merchandising teams to strategize the growth of the brand. -Lead a team of designers to execute tech packs, Illustrator sketches, CADs, make sample fit corrections and request show samples. -Work collaboratively with the production team to approve final fabric, trim, knitdown and print submits, maintain brand fit, quality and integrity while maintaining buyer’s expectations.

-Executed initial development tech packs across all woven categories for FW16 collection and presentation -Attended fittings, wrote and communicated comments to domestic factories and patternmakers for revisions and show samples -Revised and updated Illustrator flat sketches and tech packs for hand off to development and production -Assisted with developing linesheets for the 2015/2016 International Woolmark Prize competition

Designer of wovens, outerwear and sweaters for the private label brand "Tabitha" in a small business, high volume setting - Work directly with the buyers and merchandisers to develop on-trend and relevant product within a determined price point - Initiate and present idea from concept and initial sketch, through sampling, and production. - Source all fabric, trim and prints for upcoming seasons through domestic and overseas vendors. - Execute all tech packs with detail sketches, pitch prints and colors, and coordinate samples and linesheets - Responsible for all flat hand sketching, Photoshop and Illustrator work, and detailed embroidery and beading layouts - Daily communication with all overseas factories, fabric and trimming suppliers - Negotiate and trouble-shoot initial pricing with factories and suppliers to secure orders Production/Technical Design - Calculate all pricing and costing with factories and suppliers to secure and confirm orders. - Approve all bulk lab dips, strike offs, fabric, trim, construction and design details - Coordinate and direct all fittings -- 1st fit through TOP samples - Communicate all technical fit corrections to the factory for further approval samples; trouble-shoot and suggest solutions to any fit issue directly with the factory and patternmaker - Execute and submit all technical grading in contemporary missy and petite size ranges
