I lead Florence, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) and self-performing concrete contractor with decades of experience delivering complex municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. We partner with municipalities, public agencies, school districts, utilities, developers, and general contractors who rely on accountability, precision, and long-term performance.    My career at Florence began in 1999, and I have advanced through nearly every operational and financial role, from payroll and accounting to controller and now president. That hands-on progression shapes how I lead, with a deep understanding of field execution, financial discipline, and strategic planning.    Florence performs concrete foundations, flatwork, structural concrete, and large-scale roadway and infrastructure projects. As a WBE-certified contractor, we are proud to contribute to transformative public works across Michigan and the region. One of our most exciting and impactful projects was the Detroit Windsor International Bridge port paving, a once-in-a-generation infrastructure project that plays a critical role in international trade and economic connectivity between the United States and Canada. Supporting a project of that scale and its visibility reflects the trust placed in our team to deliver quality, precision, and reliability under demanding conditions.    Our experience also includes the Baldwin Road widening and reconstruction for the Road Commission of Oakland County, along with multi-phase residential street reconstruction for cities such as Farmington Hills and Warren, often requiring close coordination with municipalities, residents, and emergency services while meeting strict MDOT specifications.    I oversee company operations, strategic planning, and financial management, while staying closely connectedto our teams and clients to ensure Florence remains financially strong, operationally sound, and positioned for sustainable growth.
