* CMP makes the materials that are used by dental labs to produce dental prosthetics such as dentures, partial plates , mouth guards and more. * My main duties consist but not limited to; * I test the raw materials, compounds and mixtures before they are sent to the customers. * Make molds, record data, cast alloys and much more.) * I check the ph levels for liquid mixtures during manufacturing. * Check and sign off on work orders in manufacturing. * I check to ensure that labels and other product documentation is accurate and up to date. * Document all work and check accuracy of all documentation. * Other duties as assigned. * I just completed an online course through Caliso for ISO 13485 Auditor * This position allows me to use my education and skills in Physics and Chemistry. * Very cool and important work since the baby boomer generation is aging and has more need and desire for appropriate dental work to help them continue living their lives to the fullest. * Also sometimes it seems like I am back in Chemistry lab all day long and get paid for it.

I scored common core tests for different states in subjects English, social studies and science for grades 4-10. There have been several different projects throughout the last year consisting of different subjects, different grades and states. All of them last 3-4 weeks. This helped me keep my general skills sharp such as time management, documentation, quality and of course working with all types of people.

Inspection of parts both machined in-house and from various suppliers both foreign and domestic. Many of these were much larger parts than I have worked with before so I certainly expanded my quality inspection experience by using larger measuring tools such as 3-5 piece inside micrometers to measure composite rings up to 8 feet in diameter. Initiated NCRs on defective parts. Unfortunately my experience there was cut short by a company-wide downsizing.

* Inspected aluminum, titanium and steel aircraft parts during many steps of production for such customers as Boeing, Bell Labs, Gulfstream, Sikorsky and others. * Perform 1st Article Inspections (FAIs) using AS9102, modified incorrect and completed Inspection Checklists (ICLs) as required and initiated over 200 Material Review Requests (MRRs) on defective parts. * Continued my learning by using different measuring tools and quality measuring software (PCDMIS 2012). * Helped train machine operators and new quality inspectors on proper documentation and quality inspection techniques. * Started to familiarize myself with AS 9100 procedures and documentation.
