Complex Rheology and Biomechanics Lab - Prof. Daniel Goldman • Collaborated on the testing of an undulatory, limbless underwater robotic model to investigate the role of mechanical intelligence in open-water navigation. • Engineered a capstan-driven leg assembly for a centipede-inspired decapod robot, enhancing torque output during actuation. • Developed a rotating connection for cord-driven joints in a snake-inspired robot, enabling out-of- plane movement that improves traversal capabilities and navigational control in varied complex environments • 1 Published paper, 4 conference abstracts, 2 poster sessions 1 conference talks As member of the Complex Rheology and Biomechanics Lab. -Researched, designed, prototyped, experimented, and manufactured compliant rover wheel -Using rapid prototyping manufactured functional wheel from resin -Iterated design using FEA and Topological design

– Placed 3rd globally in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC)

• Utilized Python to extract information from part files to efficiently reduce 30% of inventory in three different part families and increase part reuse resulting in $700K in savings • Developed a standard approach for extracting information from varying GE part document templates and information inputs to streamline part reduction effort and increase sub-team cohesion • Conducted software/historical analysis on Bill of Materials (BOMs) data and structure to check for inaccuracies across part families and find areas needing optimization to ensure the accuracy of available data • Created Standard Operating Procedure for locating specific BOM details for an initiative to consolidate historical BOM data into a more sustainable structure to prevent future redundancies
