Since 2006 my wife and I have teamed up as facilitators of a unique musical program of life enrichment for the elders and those with special needs in nursing homes and Adult Foster Care homes in the Rogue Valley. Our Non-Profit is called Heart and Hope Music. For twelve years I was an elementary school Music Specialist at Patrick Elementary School in Gold Hill. A professional entertainer and songwriter for over 25 years, I developed a distinct sound and style incorporating my unique guitar, harmonica, and flute-like whistling skills with exuberant vocals. Much of the popular material I performed was original and spiritually uplifting. This work as a skilled musician, and teacher helped prepare me to design a therapeutic program that both appeals to and heals the clients we serve. Throughout my life I have been called to charity and service.
