Responsible for managing a portfolio of Pumps including devices for compression therapy, enteral feeding and negative pressure wound therapy in support of Patient Care. This portfolio is primarily commercialized under the Cardinal Health brand and category Spend is >$100M annually. Responsible for development and execution of global Medical supply strategies to achieve best total value, sustainable productivity and high levels of quality and service aligned with business objectives.

Responsible for development and execution of global Medical supply strategies to achieve best total value, sustainable productivity and high levels of quality and service aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities includes all Strategic Sourcing for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies manufactured in Asia, Europe and North America for the Life Science Solutions Group.

Responsible for Strategic Sourcing of Electronics in North America for the Labratory Products Division. Includes PCBAs, Cable Assemblies, Electronic Components, Measuring and Sensing Devices and Heater Assemblies.

Responsible for negotiating contracts with manufacturers, distributors, and independent sellers and developing overall commodity strategies for a variety of commodities – Electronics (batteries, capacitors, connectors, crystals, filters, fuses, integrated circuits, digital, memory, relays, resistors, switches and transformers); mechanical (printed circuit boards, cable assemblies); and packaging material; responsible from quoting to requisition to delivery/payment of supplier; assured compliance with purchasing policies and procedures; review BOM’s for alternates/crosses, cost savings, accuracy. Commodity responsibilities included a $60 million annual spend.

Responsible for Managing In-Plant Store for Office & Manufacturing supplies, and Chemicals (100 types Class A and B) in support of the Johnson City facility. Including negotiating contracts with vendors and purchasing over 500 stock items. Responsible for raw material inventory control cycle count program.

Responsible for shipping and receiving of production and non-production raw materials and finished goods and all system related transactions. Includes utilization of UPS and Federal Express shipping systems. Responsible for kit pulling and raw material stocking in support of manufacturing services.
