Provide daily logistics support for growing import and Global Sourcing initiatives. Responsibilities included Freight Forwarder on boarding, IDC (import deconsolidation center) on boarding, trucker on boarding, visibility reporting, exception reporting, freight invoice validation, invoice resolution, claims, load planning, bookings, coordination of all port to DC transportation (entire network), providing guidance to 3PL service providers (freight forwarder, 2 IDCs, and truckers), created SOPs for 3PL providers and ensured compliance of them, resolve DC receipt exceptions, providing guidance to all DCs and managed container pool at each DC to minimize per diem and demurrage. I developed on-time delivery reporting, IDC scorecards for outbouond trailers and other reporting required by DVP.
