Working in the Southern Region, I was responsible for many projects from inception to completion. including replacing platforms at three stations, whilst trains were still running. New Station at West Brompton. Car Parks for Chiltern Railways. Programme of track renewals at depots. Leading teams of up to 14 people on Station and Depot Refurbishments.

Mapeley own or lease all property occupied by HMRC. My role was to manage projects from feasibility to completion. These projects included a rollout of public office upgrades to Tax Offices to make them self help by installing phones and internet terminals. These were fast track over 2-3 nights each. Other projects included conversion of three separate offices into call centres and the transfer of staff to a new office on the Isle of Wight over a weekend and refurbishment of their old office. All projects involved close liaison with the HMRC managers and specialist staff, eg IT and Telecomm. My can do attitude was appreciated by the HMRC staff. When I left I received many emails from the managers, thanking me for my work and commenting on how I was like a breath of fresh air.

During my time with EC Harris I was involved in the refurbishishment of a scientific research building at Exeter University and the construction of a new fish quay and fish market at Brixham.Initially at Brixham I Project Managed the Civil works to create a new quay to allow the construction of a major extension to the existing fish market. For the construction of the fishmarket extension and associated offices and restaurant, I was based full time on site and additionally undertook the role of Supervisor under the ECC Conditions of Contract

Started with Railtrack as Project Manager on platform replacement schemes in South London. Promoted into Senior Project Manager in Station and Depot regeneration. Managing complete project teams, delivering around £18m of schemes. Joined Major Stations where responsible for all works to Waterloo, Charing Cross and Liverpool Street Stations. Produced feasibility for £300m refurbishment of Waterloo and was Lead Project Development Manager for the Refurbishment of Kings Cross Station.

Currently working with Arcadis as Employers Representative and Supervisor on various civil and flood protection works in the South East.
