This company received the first NASA photo and printing services contract at Cape Canaveral, in 1961, and I was transfered from Hollywood, Calif. to Cape Canaveral, Fla. to help service this contract. We worked (reproduction services for NASA) first located in a steel Quonset hut directly across from Hanger 'S' and the Project Mercury astronauts. Later, the photo contract was awarded to Technicolor Corp (Hollywood, London, Rome) wherein I was re-hired by Technicolor Corp. having already been on the job with Continental Graphics (Economy Blueprint & Supply).

Taught first yr. Basic Drawing, plus Basic Drawing for 2nd yr. Animation students. Also taught Sat morning Sketch Classes open to the public.

Started in Zerox and Microfilmimg Depts. (1 yr.) at Hollywood, Cal.; then transfered to Cape Canaveral, Fla. to service NASA photo services contract.

Cartoon Caricatures at parties and events.Taught Cartoon & Drawing Classes plus private tutoring, , Magazine Gag Cartoons and Comic Strips, Worked on "The Chipmunk Adventure" movie (1987), Alvin & the Chipmunks. Passed the tests package to work on the TV show "Doug." Worked on TV commercial (animation) for Hess trucks. Worked with Milt Neil, celebrated Disney animator. (Actually my cartooning and publications run throughout most of my life.)

Taught Basic Drawing, 1st yr. classes, and 2nd yr. Cartoon Animation basic drawing classes. Also, Sat. am Sketch Classes open to the general public. I was also a house parent for student housing, and worked in the beginning art store, while a student there.

Final year, 1957, I went to school in the mornings, then worked as a soda jerk in a drug store in the afternoons; and then worked as a pinsetter at a bowling alley in the evenings. I also started a sign business with a friend, called \"Cole, Koontz and Company,\" and made money painting cartoons on store windows. My first published cartoon was in \"The Cooley Cardinal.\""]
