Responsible for the procurement and inventory control of all raw materials, MRO materials and packaging materials, as well as outsourced processing parts management; Monitor the latest market prices of raw materials, optimize the supplier portfolio, and develop competitive suppliers; Track the real-time logistics status of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure the timely material supply and customer order fulfillment; Cooperate with various inspections by government departments such as Customs and CIQ to prevent trade compliance risks; Warehouse 5S management, safe storage and regular disposal for hazardous chemicals, reasonable planning for storage space, dispose slow moving materials in time; Coordinate and assign daily work for department employees, improve work efficiency and control overtime, and lead the department to operate efficiently and orderly; Participate in internal regular meetings, attend the audit by customers or third-parties such as IATF16949, ISO14001, submit relevant report data.

Responsible for supplier development and management for outsourcing parts(machining parts, sheet metal parts, hardware standard parts, etc.), subcontractor management for part surface treatment process. Ensure material supply, responsible for material price and supply channel for different material(aluminum, copper, stainless steel, iron, etc.) and different profile(section bar, sheet metal, aluminum extrusion, casting, etc.). Evaluate suppliers together with QC,by means of reasonable improvement(technics, flow, management, etc.), help suppliers do cost saving to achieve company＇s yearly price reduction goal. Material planning and inventory control, purchase order authorization, fulfillment and tracking. Responsible for customer service, customer complaint and disposal of unexpected logistics circumstances, take proper preventive measures to reduce customer complaint rate. In charge of daily management of supply chain department, including on/off duty supervision and submission, monthly/quarterly performance examination and related documents approval.

Develop new suppliers and perform site audit together with supplier quality engineer. Review and manage suppliers, maintain supplier relationship, improve supplier quality in a long run. Analyze supplier quotation and product cost, negotiate price and terms with supplier, enhance the whole supplier chain competition ability. Work with project department to transfer new projects to Suzhou plant from overseas, arrange suppliers to fabricate golden sample. Take part in the outstanding issues related to supplier raw material, coordinate engineering department with suppliers to speed up resolution. Confirm delivery date with suppliers and track the PO fulfillment, expedite on time delivery continuously. Coordinate material procurement to deal with key requirements and urgent orders to avoid production line interruption due to material shortage.

Import and Export: In charge of the import and export business,logistics management system of Export Processing Zone,register, maintain and write off the Customs E-logbook; Monitor purchase orders fulfillment,communicate with vendors to confirm delivery date and design a reasonable logistics solution based on raw material volume and demand ensuring a timely material supply; Arrange for booking,Customs clearance,packaging and shipping as per customer's requirement and production plan,track the shipment status afterwards until received by customer on time; Assess forwarders and Customs brokers, optimize logistics solutions and cost continuously; Keep good relationships with Customs,CIQ and other government offices,attend the meetings and training,introduce the latest policy to company. Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse operation,treat bonded and non-bonded separately to meet Customs's regulation,apply 80/20 principle and 5S on warehouse management, optimize the storage layout for material and products, carry out the ‘First in, First out’ policy; Attend the meeting held by Finance and QC for scrap and RMA material regularly, arrange the RMA replacement in time, dispose obsolete and scrapped material to reduce inventory level,do cycle counting regularly to keep high inventory accuracy; Check if the original warehouse documents are sorted and filed in line with company’internal audit policy; Order processing and Planning: Receive customer forecasts and orders, create and issue the material requirements and production plans; send purchase order or delivery note to suppliers based on Kanban data to avoid material shortage; Confirm related node of RFC and ECO in the SmarTeam and import to ERP, generate sales invoices in the ERP and provide to finance after delivery; Submit on time delivery rate data monthly, collect customer complaints and advice, analyse the root cause for shipment delay and put forward improvement measures;

Send booking to forwarders to arrange shipments according to sales information, prepare Customs paperwork such as invoice and packing list; Arrange trucks as per packing data provided by warehouse; Attend Customs and CIQ spot inspections, give necessary explanation; Track the HAWB or B/L, check letter of credit, provide with documents for overseas clearance; Contact forwarders to confirm shipments status, ensure customers to receive goods in time; Key in daily import and export data, sort and file Customs documents, manage and control the export foreign exchange verification sheet; Collect Customs declaration forms, provide related bills to finance department for payment.
