We will start in San Diego, 306,000 PEOPLE IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY ALONE ARE ESTIMATED TO NEED TREATMENT FOR DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTION WITH A 4 - 6 WEEK AVERAGE WAIT TIME FOR MEN NEEDING COST ASSISTANCE (MEDI-CAL) In San Diego County, there are 15 Funding Sources who Case Manage Grants received through Federal Funding administered through the states down to the county level. Where these Agencies sub-contract to providers for housing needs for their clients. DESCO BHS, Inc. would be one of these providers. As part of Phase Two of our rollout, we will start various levels of Substance Abuse Treatment Programs, that will bill primarily Medi-Cal. These levels are 1) Medical Detox Facility, 2) Partial Hospitalization Program, 3) Intensive Outpatient Programs, and 4) Outpatient Programs. We will develop a Community Resource Center in which all these levels of care will receive their treatment. By separating the Treatment from the Housing Units, we eliminate the need for Conditional Use Permits. We will be one of the few that provide both Housing and Treatment in our county. DESCO BHS, Inc. will be a For-Profit entity, but we will have a sister company, WeHelpYouNow.org Foundation, that will function as a 501c3 Non-Profit entity. This will become our 16th Funding Source and will fill any vacant beds we might encounter from time to time. They also will sublet space at the Resource Center to provide services to Homeless Individuals. This Resource Center will be a One Stop Shop for the Social Services needed for each client. We will also do an assessment on each Homeless Individual that comes to our Center, to see if they need the services of our Treatment Programs. Meals, Cloths & Shoes, Showers, as well as haircuts will be among the services available. STAY TUNED, MORE WILL BE REVEALED!!!!
