The social, political, and medical nightmare our nation is experiencing troubles my soul. Image makers and story-tellers have an opportunity, and responsibility to help bring healing and empowerment to our nation. Together perhaps we can help transform anger into empathy. I have been driven to offer my skills to help make a difference. Toward that end I am launching Abbadon Images, a site that features the social documentary 'The Bob and Melissa Project', a retrospective that follows an underserved couple with mental illness as they negotiate a complex and unforgiving US. healthcare system. It is offered to remind us that our healthcare system has been in need of change for decades. What was broken when the documentary was made in the 90's remains broken today. During this important election year it is urgent that we address the need for change within our nation's healthcare and social service systems. Abbadon Images also features intimate, fully released rights managed medical stock photography shot in US hospital emergency departments. I see things in B&W. It’s just the way I see. And I believe less is still more so my work reflects this. Please take a look at Abbadonimages.com. I would Love to Partner with Designers, ad Agencies, and organizations that specifically create special projects for medical and healthcare markets and welcome your contact. Regards, Don
