4o bed skilled nursing home with 10 TCU beds. Developing and maintaining nursing policy/procedures, case management, patient safety, infection control, daily rounds, coordinating nursing services with other resident services, recruiting and retaining staff to meet resident needs. Assisted administrator with marketing for patients and staffing. Scheduling staff, working as nurse or aide as needed to ensure proper care of residents. Ambulatory surgical facility consists of 2 OR, 2 procedure rooms, 8 pre/post op bays. Administrator/RN Nurse Manager in surgical center 24 hour call. Responsible for case management, safety for staff and patients, quality measures, infection control, written policy, and compliance with regulatory agencies. Managing front desk staff, medical records, billing, supply ordering, equipment repairs, and all preop/ postop staff as well as surgically staff. Personally worked preop and postop nurse assisting physicians with endoscopy/EGD, MUA, and pain epidurals on procedure days. Patient chart review every surgical day to ensure HIPPA and billing compliance. Staff recruitment, selecting, training, supervision, and retention. Day to day running of surgical facility open to close. Working with board members to keep facility current.

Work with doctor on orthotic and neurological floor to perform treatments on patients with musculoskeletal injury and diseases. Patient safety, infection control, and wound management of postop patients. Monitoring patient status and using motion therapy for patients post-operatively. Administer medication and treatments as well as preop/post-operative care. Educate patients on how to avoid post-operative infections and how to manage pain medications must use critical thinking and logical reasoning in absence of physician.

Case mgmt of 10 to 18 daily, heavier loads as needed. Excellent case manager using problem solving skills, clinical knowledge for resource management, discharge planning, patient safety, and customer service. Documentation, oral/gtube medication and tube feeding administration, nebulizer/trach, humidified circuit, ventilator, and patient care. Emergency care trained. Pediatric and adult assessment, follows patient care plan, troubleshoot client needs in emergency situations. Gives medication as directed by physician. Ability to work with families of all levels and backgrounds. Working with a team and independently to achieve goal set for patient. Ability to train other staff to ensure proper care.
