This TDC certificated program was a refresher course taken to supplement my understanding of accounting methods, behind the computer. Getting back to pencil and paper is a great way to refresh skills; you can find input errors in a computer much easier if you understand the big picture of accounting. Other certifications and education in the accounting field include: - American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) continuing education. - H&R Block Basic Income Tax course. - NASD Series 6 license (expired). - Independent study in bookkeeping and accounting methods. - Quickbooks ProAdvisor certified. - Microsoft MOUS certified in Excel.
