I am an Electrical Engineer with a Masters in Electrical Power Engineering (Smart AC and DC grids track) from the Delft University of Technology. Prior to joining TU Delft, I worked as a software engineer at a leading automotive company which helped me in developing my technical and management skills in a multi-national environment. I completed my graduation thesis with Intelligent Electrical Power Grids (IEPG) research group and Alliander, a Dutch network operator. Currently, I work at Energyworx, a cloud-based energy data platform, as a Customer Success Engineer. I am passionate about electrical grid energy management and have a keen interest in employing machine learning methods for grid management. In addition to my education and previous experiences, I assure you that I am committed to growth and learning. Policy in Action Fellow
India
Worked on a policy project titled, "Renewable Energy Potential in Uttar Pradesh" for Mr. Ritesh Pandey, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha). The policy brief assesses the energy needs of Uttar Pradesh and the trends in energy consumption over the last few years to identify the potential benefits of investing in renewable energy. The brief maps the potential for the commercial development of renewable energy generation and evaluates the impact on parameters, such as energy production, job creation, consumer benefit, contribution to the state’s GDP. Through a deeper dive into UP’s existing policy plans for the growth of this sector, the brief identifies the current challenges that are impeding the growth of this sector. Basis this study and an examination of the practices of better performing states and countries, the brief provides actionable, feasible policy recommendations for the growth of renewable energy in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Policy in Action Program is a month long engagement for young professionals who are keen to explore the fields of public policy and development. The program is designed to deliver core skills in policy analysis, advocacy and leadership, along with the experience of working on live projects for policymakers - MPs, MLAs, ministries and other Indian Government institutions.

Graduate Student Researcher

- Title: Unsupervised Learning techniques to locate weak spots in the Medium Voltage (MV) cable network. - Spatio-temporal clustering of partial discharges in cable and evaluating clusters with critical PD activity. - Employed PD data processing, and performed clustering using ST-DBSCAN Algorithm developed in Python (scikit, Pandas, Numpy). - Evaluated identified clusters by calculating statistical features to describe the partial discharge activity observed. - Aided in the development of an automated decision support tool for locating areas of defect in the medium voltage cables by model integration and evaluation.

- Project: Optimizing breakdown schedules for technicians to minimize response time thereby helping in reducing the Storingsverbruikersminuten (SVBM) or average customer interruption mintues. - Part of the Reporting and Analytics (R&A) team in the Operations unit of distribution network operator. - Investigated and developed optimization techniques like Random Search, Genetic Algorithm (GA), Mixed Integer Linear Programming(MILP) etc. and evaluated their performance. Collaborated with internal stakeholders for constraint modelling of the problem. - The algorithms were developed in R and modelled on the NESTOR database.

- Involved in developing diagnostic infrastructure and fault management for electronic control units (ECU) for Powertrain Systems. Support and development of engine emission monitoring software for automotive clients like BMW, Volkswagen and Ford-Chrysler Automotive. - Responsible for developing software for mid-level drivers to connect application software to communication software, resolving resolution, controlling sensors and actuators by standardized communication protocol for OBD and WWH-OBD solutions. - Worked on development of diagnostic infrastructure and fault management for electronic control for engine emissions compliant with Euro 6 emission standards. - Learned end-to-end software development process including requirement analysis to product release using V-model SDLC. - Developed code using embedded C programming language and automated work flow using Perl scripting. Diesel and Gasoline Systems - Designed a software algorithm to calculate engine speed from engine coolant temperature in case of failure of engine speed sensor.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
