● Assist the Finance team in establishing processes to ensure the consistent and accurate delivery of financial or business analysis: Forecasting the performance of the consolidated entity, individual business, or regional units; Developing or supporting initiatives to improve the quality of collected data either by optimizing the current operational data collection process, or implementing new tools to drive scalable analysis and insight. ● Provide weekly/monthly financial reporting to monitor the performance of Glints and other emerging business units: Work together with the Finance team for financial analysis (FP&A) and/or business analysis. ● Support in Group-Level Industry Benchmarking exercises and other ad-hoc initiatives like identifying key market drivers for business generation and performance

▪ Spearheaded the first-of-its-kind discussion for 110 students with the Senior Minister of State at MFA, Ms Sim Ann, which provided a platform for student discussions regarding diplomatic and international relations. ▪ Independently orchestrated a career forum by inviting experts from Deutsche Bank and PwC on corporate finance. ▪ Invited to host the MTI Economic Dialogue 2023 with Minister Gan Kim Yong as special guest.

Organized Corporate Banking Case Competition open to all universities in Singapore, with sponsorship from Maybank. Attended analyst-in-training sessions where I learned and practically implemented financial modelling.

Triumphed the M9 Life Insurance and Investment-Linked Policies examination by SCI; Scrutinized key financial planning tools (ILPs, Endowment, etc) to better suit individual goals and situations & perform wealth management. Acknowledged as the top performing intern in the District Telethon by securing 4 new client meetings in 2 hours.

Critiqued 2 client companies’ anti-money laundering policies and administered financial audit to check for regulatory discrepancies against MAS standards; Performed sample testing on their AML policies using Excel and Bloomberg. Collaborated in the design effectiveness review for 3 payment service providers for compliance with standards.

▪ Managed the financial accounts payables and receivables independently for the Hong Kong entity; Recorded financial month-end closing statements for all APAC entities for tax reporting purposes. ▪ Leveraged financial software like HubSpot, Airtable and Zoho for creating invoices and quotations for debtors and creditors daily; Aided in workflow optimization for the Finance team by effective use of Asana.

▪ Conducted market research and industry analysis for clients, averaging at 2 companies per day. ▪ Generated benchmarking reports for 15 companies, both preliminary and qualitative review of comparables using Excel; Eventually structured the entire Transfer Pricing report for these clients using the benchmarking reports.
