I stepped from designing educational games and workshops into entertainment games and began producing my own family card game. 18 months later, I have many prototypes on the go, a successful Kickstarter campaign for my first produced game Driving Me Crazy! which has been picked up by stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, with talks for the UK underway. Conventions I visit regularly: UK Games Expo, SPIEL in Essen, Spellenspektakel, Spielwarenmesse, and am often at smaller local conventions in NL/DE/BE. In this position I trained professionals in English of all levels from beginner to business oriented. I worked with the learners to create individualized lessons and curriculum that best addresses their goals and learning styles. I taught one-on-one as well as in groups. Sometimes, I taught groups of children. I slowly stopped these operations, as I became more involved in other professional projects.

In this role, I managed the frozen foods department as well as co-managed other departments such as dairy, convenience, dry-food, and beverages. This included management of inventory stock levels and push/pull products, buying and selling new products based on customer needs, use of ERP System innovatively and effectively (GWS). I was additionally responsible for managing customer specific requests and “to order” organization. I ensured effective end-to-end processes to enhance customer relations with the aim to maximize sales and minimize negative experiences through OTIF principles and demand and supply planning.

In these positions I was responsible for various financial and administrative tasks, supervision and leading of my team, and providing superb customer service.

I operated my own small tutoring business in which I offered aid to students aged 5-16 in varying subjects from reading to math to science to beginner guitar and more.

I followed a teaching program with a focus on Education and Child and Youth Development. To accept a job offer I could not complete the last credits and instead transferred my credit points to obtain a differently titled degree.
