Dixon Young Mutambo - The Governor

Known nationwide as “THE GOVERNOR”, I currently serve as the Student Union President at the University of Zambia, our country’s highest learning institution. Driven by a passion for impactful leadership, I’ve had the privilege to champion the interests and welfare of my fellow students while representing a new wave of young, ambitious leaders in Zambia. In addition to my role at the university, I’m the Founder of the Governor Hope Foundation, a humanitarian organization dedicated to giving back to communities across Zambia. My work with BeRelevant Afrika as Protocol Director has further honed my skills in organizing and public communication, where I use a precise, powerful approach to connect with diverse audiences. As I pursue my law degree, I’m also proud to represent several brands as an ambassador, helping them enhance their visibility and trust in the Zambian market. Leadership, service, and a commitment to advocacy are at the core of my journey, and I look forward to contributing to a brighter future for Zambia and its youth.
