I am a Network and Data Center Engineer with hands-on experience supporting hyperscale and enterprise data center operations in high-density environments. My work covers end-to-end infrastructure deployment, including rack and stack installations, chassis installations, server, storage, and network hardware deployments, GPU installations, and structured cabling for large-scale data center builds. I have strong experience as a network administrator, supporting switches and routers, configuring VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP protocols, and maintaining reliable Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity. I have worked in environments leveraging DWDM and high-capacity optical transport and regularly configure out-of-band and management interfaces such as iDRAC, iLO, and Cisco CIMC for remote access and hardware lifecycle management. My background includes deploying and integrating infrastructure from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, and Infinera. I work with high-speed optics across 10G, 40G, 100G, 400G, 800G, and emerging 1600G environments, supporting installation, validation, and troubleshooting. I design rack layouts, perform console and management network setup, patch connections from transponders to patch panels, and ensure proper power, airflow, and cable management. I routinely perform rack and port audits to validate cabling accuracy, labeling, and connectivity against design documentation, working closely with SOPs, MOPs, BOMs, and Engineering Design Plans (EDPs) to ensure all work follows approved standards, safety requirements, and change controls. I also work on asset tracking and inventory management using DCIM tools, ensuring accurate tracking of hardware, power usage, and rack-level capacity. I troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues using Cat5/Cat6 copper cabling and fiber optics, working with SC, LC, and MPO/MTP connectors and OM1/OM2 fiber types, including basic fiber splicing and link testing. I also support operating system installation, imaging, and configuration across Linux and Windows environments, manage asset inventory, and handle inbound and outbound shipments while tracking work through ServiceNow-based ticketing systems. In addition, I support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, maintain clear documentation using Google Sheets, Excel, and Word, and collaborate closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.
