As a Quality and Process Improvement Consultant at Alberta Health Services (AHS), I spearhead transformative initiatives to advance quality practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Department of Medicine (DOM). My role involves leading, coordinating, and facilitating QI services across the Calgary Zone, which encompasses 11 clinical divisions and serves a diverse population across Southern Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. By collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, I drive improvements that enhance patient outcomes and strengthen our health system. Key Responsibilities: ▪️Lead and coordinate quality and process improvement (QI) initiatives at both site and provincial levels. ▪️Develop and execute QI strategies in collaboration with the Health Analytics & Quality (HAQ) and physician leaders. ▪️Build and maintain strong relationships with AHS leadership, physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. ▪️Facilitate effective group collaboration, including with clinical leaders, administrative managers, and physicians, to drive project success. ▪️Utilize data analytics and statistical concepts to inform and guide improvement efforts. ▪️Conduct process analysis, root cause analysis, and lead rapid cycle improvement and change management projects. ▪️Support DOM’s education and research programs by integrating QI principles into these areas.

As an IT Business Analyst at the Digital Service Strategy (DSB) within the Engagement and Results branch of Courts Administration Services (CAS), Government of Canada, I contributed to enhancing court administration by developing user-centric solutions and improving legacy systems. My role focused on creating user stories and use cases to support the modernization of e-filing systems and other critical applications, addressing the inefficiencies and risks associated with outdated technologies. Key Responsibilities: ▪️Created detailed user stories and use cases for CAS registries, aiming to improve the e-filing system and other court management processes. ▪️Analyzed and documented the current state of legacy systems. ▪️Addressed the inefficiencies and risks identified in the current processes, which highlighted the urgency of replacing outdated systems and mitigating IT security risks. ▪️Collaborated with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy new capabilities for the Court Records Management System (CRMS) in .NET, ensuring it addressed the functionalities of the existing PM System. ▪️Contributed to the transition from legacy systems to modern technology solutions, including proceeding management, recorded entry management, case management, court file management, and document filing. ▪️Assisted in integrating new technology solutions to improve access to justice and streamline court operations, while mitigating risks associated with outdated applications.

As a Desktop Engineer at WBM, I specialized in providing advanced IT solutions to enhance end-user computing environments. My role included managing and supporting desktop systems for key clients such as SaskPower, Suncor, Farm Credit Canada (FCC), and Pembina Pipeline Corporation. I focused on optimizing desktop operations through the effective deployment and management of various technologies, ensuring smooth and efficient IT services for our clients.
