Conducted primary research by interviewing 39 PwD employees, 20 store managers, and SPOCs of various businesses and performing 19 store visits across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to assess workplace accessibility for 1,600+ PwD employees, identifying key support and infrastructure gaps through qualitative and quantitative data. ● Collaborated with 5 NGOs and assistive device startups to benchmark DE&I practices against 12 industry leaders, utilising insights from 6 DE&I consultants and 13 HR professionals to identify best practices in PwD inclusion. ● Executed a gap analysis, showcasing strengths such as employing 1,600+ PwD employees across 78 roles while proposing enhancements like a tailored career development program and improved accessibility audits. ● Developed metrics to measure success, including promotion rates, training participation, and store accessibility improvements. Recommended initiatives to bolster the Employee Resource Group (ERG), implement sign language training and increase inclusive hiring through NGO partnerships.
