Disha Soni

I’m a B.Tech IT student at IIIT Allahabad with a strong interest in software engineering, backend systems, and problem-solving at scale. I’ve had the opportunity to intern at Google twice (STEP Intern 2024, SWE Intern 2025), where I worked on building and improving scalable backend services, distributed systems, and data processing pipelines. These experiences helped me understand how production systems are designed, monitored, and optimized in real-world environments. I enjoy working close to the fundamentals — writing clean, efficient code, understanding system behavior, and solving problems that require both logical thinking and attention to detail. I’m particularly comfortable with C++, data structures, algorithms, and backend development, and I like digging deep rather than just making things “work.” I’m currently looking for software engineering or quant-focused roles where I can contribute to high-impact systems, learn from strong engineering teams, and continue growing as a developer.
