I have 22 years’ experience in the Hospitality/ Tourism, Sales and Retail Industry. In addition to my extensive hospitality / sales and retail experience, I have a proven track record of running successful operations that nurture and grow the business, optimizing costs whilst at the same time maximising profits. My skills include, but are not limited to, effectively managing the daily operations of a hotel, making sure that guests have a good first and last impression of the hotel, set sales targets for staff and monitor them to ensure that they are met. Ensuring an effective customer service culture and reputation; maintaining relationships between various stakeholders, quality assurance, managing budgets and financial plans and control expenditure, as well as maintaining statistical and financial records. Applying the most cost-effective methods and approaches, providing leading-edge products and services so as to retain the competitive edge. Supervision and training of staff and then monitoring their performance. Engaging and motivating staff to do better and constantly focusing on profitability and growth. Always striving to create a relaxing and welcoming ambience for customers. Beside the above, I am able to identify other revenue stream opportunities as well.
