Dispensing (LOTS), engage in numerous services provided by Friendlies including flu vaccinations, health checks, sleep apnoea, weight management, emergency contraception and blood pressure checks.

I was privileged enough to be one of two Pharmacy students to attend Next Step for 2 weeks during my final year placements. This placement allowed me to visit numerous drug and alcohol related services within the Perth CBD, and gain understanding on the services they provide to the public. Some of the services included: DAYS, Hepatitis WA, Peer Based Harm Reduction etc. I also got the opportunity to work alongside numerous health professionals (Doctors, nurses, counsellors, psychologists etc) on a day to day basis, attend counselling sessions and engage with those with substance abuse disorders.

Visited the hospital to familiarise hospital working environment. This included completing MedsRec for patients
