In my capacity as a Cybersecurity and IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Specialist, I am entrusted with elevating IT and cybersecurity maturity across the enterprise. I lead the design and execution of comprehensive cybersecurity programs that span internal and external threat assessments, proactive threat management, incident response, and compliance with global regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, PAP 8.02/8.05, and ISO/IEC 27001. Acting as a strategic interface between internal IT teams, external service providers, and Global IT leadership, I ensure alignment and cohesion in service delivery and technology transformation. Central to my mandate is the optimisation of IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPS), and governance structures to enhance operational resilience. I drive a strong security culture through enterprise-wide information security awareness initiatives, including user education and phishing simulations, aimed at reducing human risk and fostering behavioural change. Further, I oversee the organisation’s IT governance, risk management, and compliance functions, strengthening internal controls and ensuring audit readiness. Reporting directly to the CTO, I play a key role in shaping and executing strategic technology roadmaps that drive innovation, including AI and digital maturity initiatives. In parallel, I engage closely with global technology partners, leveraging their expertise to fortify our cybersecurity posture, improve service delivery, and align infrastructure investments with evolving business and regulatory requirements

As a Scholarly Teaching Fellow at Hebei University of Science and Technology, I delivered and coordinated teaching across Mobile and Cloud Security and Wireless Communications, with responsibility for curriculum design, lecture delivery, laboratory supervision, and student assessment, aligned to industry and research best practice. Within Security, I focused on security strategy and governance, introducing students to internationally recognised frameworks and standards, including ISO/IEC 20000 and related security management practices. Teaching emphasised how strategic frameworks translate into operational controls, covering risk management, service assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement, so students could connect theoretical models with real-world enterprise and cloud security implementations.

Led the strategic initiative alongside the principal solicitor to digitally transform the law firm to incorporate AI-enabled services. This initiative focused on modernising operations through the adoption through digitisation, adoption of AI, and IT Security best practices.
