Finance Defining and executing the financial strategy in line with the company’s business plan and product roadmap. Leading financial planning and analysis (budgets, forecasts, cash-flow planning, scenario modelling). Overseeing accounting, financial reporting and internal controls. Managing the audit process and relations with external auditors, banks, and fiduciaries. Setting up and maintaining robust financial governance, including delegation of authority, approval workflows and cost control. Human Resources Defining the organisational structure and role descriptions. Setting up HR processes and documentation. Managing compensation and benefits in line with market practice and internal budgets. Handling employee relations, confidentiality issues and HR compliance with applicable labour law. Administration & Office Management Overseeing general administrative processes (contracts, correspondence, company records, archives). Managing service providers and suppliers for administrative and facility-related topics (IT, office lease, insurances, utilities). Supporting Board and shareholder governance (meeting organisation, minutes, corporate documentation). Ensuring proper handling of legal, regulatory and compliance paperwork in collaboration with advisors (company filings, registrations, insurances). Implementing simple tools and procedures for day-to-day office operations (document templates, approvals, shared drives).

Leading the overall product development program for the implantable device and its ecosystem (hardware, firmware, software, accessories, manufacturing and clinical activities). Establishing and managing an integrated program roadmap (milestones, dependencies, critical path, budget, resources) from concept to market access. Setting up and running the program governance structure (steering committees, core team meetings, decision boards, risk and issue reviews). Coordinating cross-functional workstreams (R&D, quality, regulatory, clinical, operations, supply chain) and resolving inter-team dependencies and conflicts. Implementing and monitoring program risk management (technical, clinical, regulatory, supply, planning and financial risks) with mitigation plans and regular reporting. Defining and tracking key program KPIs (timeline adherence, budget variance, risk exposure, readiness levels) and reporting to the CEO, Board and investors.

Overseeing day-to-day company operations and ensuring alignment with the strategic plan. Setting up and maintaining an operations framework and KPIs (roadmaps, budgets, resourcing, dashboards, governance meetings). Managing supplier selection, qualification, and performance (including contract manufacturers and key component suppliers), with appropriate quality and technical agreements.

Set up the European office in Belgium, leading the hiring effort of 20+ people in the field of Human Resources, Finance, Software Development, Product development, QA/RA & Clinical; Overseeing all the activities related to Finance, HR, Legal and Administration processes and policies; Manage European suppliers, including contract negotiations; Lead the annual budget development process, monitor expenditures and variances, and update expense projections at the group level (Europe and US); Member of the Core Team reporting to the CEO covering all aspects related to Product Development, QA/RA, Clinical, Finance & Administration.
