I've negotiated several billion dollar projects in the Middle East, particularly with government entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. I've held roles where I was a sole counsel, built legal departments and legal teams in a start-up fashion, and led teams of twenty or more. Currently, I serve as the Head of Legal, Compliance, and Privacy for Samsung's regional headquarters in Dubai, where I lead a very large team of legal experts and manage complex arbitrations, litigation, sanctions and compliance issues, multi-billion dollar projects with a heavy focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as leading on regional cross-border investments, privacy, e-commerce and cyber security initiatives, and anything else that can come across a GC's desk.
