Coordinating the formation and implementation of a unified state investment policy and attracting foreign investments: • participation in policy studies and development of public investment; • project selection, appraisal, preliminary screening – proposal; • participation in development of the Investment Programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan; • analyzing country experiences and identifying the conditions and policy requirements for maximizing the benefits of FDI and minimizing its risks and potential costs; • cooperating with foreign countries to attract foreign direct investments into the economy of Uzbekistan; • coordinating the implementation of existing investment agreements with foreign countries; • monitoring the realization process of the investment projects according to the Investment Programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan; • organizing forums and meetings of intergovernmental commissions for the development of investment activities in Uzbekistan; • conducting analysis on the improvement of the investment climate in Uzbekistan; • developing proposals to improve the investment attractiveness of priority economic sectors and regions; • supporting exporters by directly intervening their daily business activities in order to help to deal with their systematic problems; • preparing analytical materials and reports to the Administration of President on realization of investment projects and improvement of investment activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

• determination of the scope of work required for the development and implementation of the projects; • definition of the goals, objectives and results of the projects; • participation in the development of business plans; • estimating the cost and determining the budget of the projects; • negotiating and concluding contracts with partners; • searching for and obtaining effective sources of financing for the companies.

• participation in auditing the reliability of financial statements in accordance with the legislation on accounting.

• participation in the development of the Investment program of the Republic of Uzbekistan for projects financed from the state budget; • participation in the formation of state budget projects and the compilation of expenditures for the forecasted years on budgetary funds allocated for capital construction; • declaring prices (tariffs) for the products of companies in the construction materials industry; • financing the specified capital construction works on the basis of the submitted operational reports; • monitoring monthly program implementation and disbursement of allocated investments; • preparing the reports to the Cabinet of Ministries on realization of financing the state budget funds for the capital construction.
