ContractorFinancials is a firm of independent financial advisers that specialise in offering jargon free, timely advice tailored to the unique needs of Contractors. The firm has been in operation since 2002 and has built an excellent reputation for tailored mortgage, pension, insurance and investment solutions for the freelance community. Since I joined the firm in 2008 as a Graduate, I worked closely with the MD to build on the close working relationships that we have with service providers within the Contractor space. Our commitment to working with like minded firms was key to our success and enabled us to help over 22,000 Contractors and Freelancers to make the most of their income. I was responsible for creating and implementing all aspects of our marketing strategy so I often ended up wearing quite a few different hats in any given week. From email marketing campaigns to design and copywriting my role embodied the saying ‘variety is the spice of life’ and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
