I spent 26 years working in the chemical industry at BASF SE. First, I joined BASF as a member of R&D Refinery Catalysts, specializing in selective hydrogenations. In 1994 I commenced marketing and development into Fuel Additives, initially covering gasoline performance additive packages. In 2004 I was appointed BASF's Head of Aviation Fuel Projects. I kept this position until I have quit BASF and established an own consultancy service in 2016.
