Leveraging 15 years of functional knowledge, skills and experience, headed the Talent Development team for Finance as a cross functional assignment during the global finance transformation programme. Developed and implemented the functional L&D strategies, functional capability, career development/career path framework and tools for Finance and IT functions globally.

Thorough financial and non-financial risk based assessments in AME Operational facilities covering c.10 factories to ensure a robust control environment is established and maintained. Liaised with AME Regional Operations Leadership Team, Demand Chain General Managers and Finance Directors to evaluate how well risks are being managed, the business is being governed and internal processes are working.

Member of Regional Finance Leadership Team, provided financial advice and assistance to the Regional Leadership Team and support to the Regional Finance Controller in delivering the region’s overall strategy and operational objectives for 78 countries. Worked directly with end market Finance Directors developing local strategies to support the delivery of the Regional Strategy and then building the financial and operational plans to fulfill that strategy.

Directed the management accounting team that controlled and consolidated the financials of group companies in TINC Area (7 markets largest being Turkey with a combined turnover of GBP250+mn) in line with International Financial Reporting Standards. Led budgeting process, forecasting, competitor review and long term strategic planning for the Area. Delivered process and control improvements, and successfully implemented an ERP system (SAP) and a forecasting tool (TM1).

Managing a total team of 16, successfully restructured the integration of 4 legal entities under single entity. Strengthened the control environment following the acquisition of brands. Implemented SAP across the group and aligned the processes and ways of workings.
