* ●Specialize in preliminary diagnostic examination for optometrists without direct supervision including, but not limited to, obtaining patient medical and ocular history, visual acuity, tonometry, topography (Zeiss iProfiler), visual field test (Zeiss), retinal photography (Optos), pupillary diagnostic test (RAPDx), color deficiency and stereo acuity * ●Perform special testing including, Visual Evoked Potential Test (VEP) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) * ●Instill anesthetic and dilation drops to examine retina * ●Fitted patient with contact lenses and advise patients on proper handling and caring techniques for insertion, removing and storing contact lenses * ●Verify glasses prescription using a digital lensmeter * ●Maintain direct patient flow for optometrist in an efficient and timely manner * ●Calibrate and sterilize all instruments and maintain stocked and organized examination rooms at all times * ●Clinical operational responsibilities and other duties as assigned, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining contact lens report and stock
