Doctor in Law (Ph.D.) and Master in International Human Rights Law (LL.M). Bilingual (Spanish/English) academic and researcher with extensive experience in research and teaching on economic, social and cultural rights, in particular the right to health, the right to food, the regulatory framework for business and human rights, and sexual and reproductive rights. In my legal practice, I specialise in the use of legal tools to promote public policies in favour of health (in food, road, environmental and other areas) and to encourage companies to respect these rights. I have published in top-level indexed journals in English and Spanish. Author of more than 20 publications on the right to health, food environments, road environments and economic law. I have designed, organised and led several courses, workshops and meetings on social rights, business and human rights for academics and activists in Latin America and the Global South. I have 20 years of experience as an academic and researcher in social rights.
