Trained newly hired RNs using TABLO machine.

Supervised 3-4 PCTs and assessed patient conditions in an acute setting prior to treatment, monitored behaviors while on hemodialysis treatment and updated physicians with observations and concerns past treatment; Responded to emergency situtions with speed, expertise and level-headed approaches to provide optimal care support and life-saving interventions; Maintained infection control logs and charting process per policy and procedure.

Triaged patients and assigned each PCT/RN in providing quality care to renal patients while on rehabilitation; Provided hemodialysis treatment with a 2:1 patient-nurse ratio in a suite room and adapted individualized treatmant plans according to patient recovery goals; Supervised PCT at bedside and observed strict safely measures including checking medication dosages before administration to patients (le. lidocaine, anticoagulants): Trained and mentored new RNs on best practices, hospital policies and standards of care.

Assist patients with all the details ot care involved in preparing for transplantation. Serve as information resources for patients and familles after the transplant; Help coordinate activities and communication between other members of the kidney transplant team; Teach patients how to monitor vital signs, spot symptoms of infection and take prescribed medication.

As Nurse InCharge: Addressed staff concerns including staffing ratios, resource management allocation of responsibilities and optimized workload management; Offered clinical leadership and oversight to 68- bed chronic hemodialysis center, inclucing daily scheduling, tasking and delegating. As Staff RN: Executed appropriate dialysis steps for chronic patients following careful review of physician medical regimen. Administered oral intramusculor and IV medications and monitored responses; Participated in continuing education programs and workshops to enhance training and nursing knowledge.

Responsible for patients suffering from acute and chronic kidney failure, working with progrossively more challenging cases and more diverse patients, and collaborating with appropriate members of the medical team; Proficiency in handling emergency situations and on-call rotations.
