During my period working as an English teacher, I worked with kids ages 4-12. I did private lessons, conversation classes and I worked for the center in their summer camp for the kids. My job was to plan out a whole new course in the learning center for the kids to improve their English proficiency and fluency. I set up classes for each age group and made sure that the content and material that they are learning were something that they can grasp. For example, I used games and fun activities in an academic manner in order for the kids to learn while having fun. I also took part in the center’s summer camp at the same time during the months of June to July which forced me to quickly learn how to balance many things at once, as I was doing the conversation classes and private lessons at the same time.
