•Design Electrical single-line schematics in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), CEC (California Electrical Code), and Title 24 in REVIT/AutoCAD for University buildings in coordination with architecture, mechanical, plumbing, Refrigeration, and HVAC engineers. • Perform electrical load analysis and voltage drop calculations for electrical systems. • Create riser diagrams. • Design Electrical single-line/one-line and schematics in REVIT/AutoCAD for commercial buildings, K-12 schools, hospitals in coordination with architecture, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC engineers. • Selecting various electrical equipment in the system depending on the specifications and load requirements at each level of redundancy in compliance with various electrical design codes (NEC, Title 24, green standards, California electrical code.) for the specific state. • Making design changes based on the project goal and requirements by the client in REVIT/AutoCAD. • Creating and/or converting markups into working REVIT/AutoCAD drawings. • Prepare electrical loads, riser diagrams. Signal plans, power plans, panel schedules. • Layout lighting fixtures on plans. • Develop knowledge of the NEC and other codes. • Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems.
