● Go through the project requirements and discuss with sales team. ● Prepare SOW (scope of work) for the project based on customer requirements. ● Technical communication with customer to freeze the SOW. ● Prepare cost estimation of project along with tentative timeline. ● Provide project planning and schedule. ● Give guidance and project details to design team. ● Vendor validation and conduct QMS audit along with quality team. ● Review the concept design and engineering design from DFM point of view. ● Working on material selection to optimize product functionality. ● Prototype development based on the product requirements. ● Implement the NPI process for new product development. ● Discuss with cross functional team to brief about product requirements.

● Discussion with the customer related to technical aspect and understand their requirements. ● Prepare a project execution plan. ● Visit the customer to discuss the technical difficulties and up come with the appropriate solution. ● Prepare a document of queries/procedure to send to the customer for further discussion. ● Provide new concept guidance to the design team. ● Develop the prototypes considering the application of the products. ● Provide training to new design team member. ● Vendor development for customized mechanical parts.

● New Product Development (Surface modeling) using Unigraphics NX and AutoCAD for various products. ● Product design for different kind of consumer product & their parts like Custom Card Reader and Calculator. ● Generate manufacturing drawing along with dimensional and GD&T tolerances. ● Provide PCB outline and placement of electromechanical parts like audio jack, tactile switch, USB etc. to hardware team. ● Co-ordinate with the hardware team regarding the PCB outline and their electro-mechanical parts. ● Take the 3D PCB data from the hardware team and assembled with the product design to verify the whole design from the assembly as well as fitment point of view. ● Jig and Fixture Design for increasing the productivity and quality. ● Prepare a BOM for the project. ● Prepare a documentation of the design, assembly procedures and QA/QC check list. ● Vendor Development for several types of parts like electro-mechanical and mechanical in India as well as in overseas and takes follow-up of the work.

● Design parts, components, and assemblies to meet the requirements of assign project. ● Product modification for appropriate fitting & look. ● Mold and Equipment Design for different kind of helmet & their parts. ● Jig and Fixture Design for assembly line. ● Vendor Development and take the follow-up of work.

● Design different type of injection mold for plastic parts. ● Prepare tool manufacturing file with detailed drawings to hand over to shop floor for production. ● Provide GD&T and dimensional tolerances in tool design drawings. ● Electrode design for cavities and punch to achieve the dimensional accuracy as per requirements. ● Modeling & CAM Programming using UG NX 4 for tooling on 3axis – 4 axis VMC and Post Process it to the machine controller.
