I am a Final year Petroleum Engineering student with a strong interest in Reservoir Engineering, focused on applying analytical and data-driven approaches to understand and optimize subsurface energy systems. My academic journey and hands-on project experience have helped me develop a solid foundation in Reservoir characterization, Performance evaluation, and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques, along with proficiency in tools like MBAL and Microsoft Excel for technical analysis. During my internship at the Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), I conducted performance analysis and material balance studies on multi-decade field data to estimate reservoir parameters and identify drive mechanisms. I also explored various EOR methods, with a special focus on Chemical EOR, evaluating its potential to improve recovery efficiency. Alongside my petroleum background, I am deeply interested in the Biofuels and energy transition sector, exploring how sustainable fuel alternatives can be integrated into traditional oil and gas operations in achieving Net-zero emissions. I aim to contribute to innovative and sustainable solutions that bridge conventional and renewable energy technologies while continuously expanding my technical and analytical skill set.

During my internship at Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS) ONGC, I conducted a detailed performance analysis using production, injection, and pressure data from around ten wells to evaluate the overall reservoir behavior and performance trends. I further applied Material Balance Analysis (MBA) using MBAL software on the same dataset, covering more than five decades of field data, to estimate the Original Oil in Place (OOIP) and identify the dominant reservoir drive mechanisms governing production. Additionally, I carried out an extensive evaluation of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques, with a particular focus on Chemical EOR, to assess its potential in improving oil recovery efficiency and extending the productive life of the field.
