Neuralert Technologies is revolutionizing stroke detection with a non-invasive, wrist-worn device that provides continuous, real-time monitoring for hospitalized patients. Using proprietary algorithms, the system detects asymmetric arm movements—a key stroke symptom—and sends instant alerts to healthcare providers, reducing detection times from hours to minutes. This enables the care teams to reduce the critical time between the onset of the stroke and the initiation of treatment, thereby improving outcomes for patients. • Began advising Neuralert Founders in February 2020 on healthcare wrist wearables. • Officially joined the team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in July 2020. • Stepped in to provide acting-CEO support when Neuralert's original CEO, the late Eric Corkhill, could no longer perform the role due to declining health in May of 2024. • Formally assumed the CEO role in August 2024 to lead the company forward. • Led company through the manufacture of device and a successful pilot study with patients. • Kicked off pivotal trial for Neuralert's FDA regulatory pathway, achieved FPI in 2026Q1. • Humbled to receive the 2025 PCI Ventures "CEO of the Year" award for my impactful leadership. • With technology ready, devices manufactured, pilot study completed, pivotal trial underway, and a Breakthrough Device Designation from the FDA, Neuralert is well-positioned for commercialization.

Platform was extremely successful with technology and intellectual property assets purchased by a venture-backed startup in 2008.

Senior projects included 1) VLSI design for a multi-chip module test architecture, 2) Application to convert a scanned TIFF sheet of music into MIDI file.
