 Supervised and tutored a 6th grader and special needs 3rd grader, helping them complete and understand schoolwork.  Supervised and launched software and technology requirements for Zoom class meetings.  Located additional teaching material for supplementary topic review.  Assisted with reading comprehension for child with autism spectrum disorder.  Adapted traditional reading material into physical role-play activities to assist with understanding of material and attention retention.  Provided technology troubleshooting for zoom sessions with teacher and classmates.

Served as an initial first responder, taking 911 calls and dispatching emergency personnel, including state and local police, fire and ambulatory services. Provided life-saving pre-arrival instructions during medical emergencies and operated the Computer Aided Dispatching system (CAD). Performed multiple tasks concurrently while working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.

Provided basic patient care and assisted them with activities of daily living. Member of a multidisciplinary health care team, delivering quality patient care in accordance with the individualized plan of care.

Assisted in the care, treatment, habilitation, or rehabilitation of mentally or physically ill patients, aged or developmentally disabled in treatment facilities.

I attended East Carolina University to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing. I received a minor in psychology before beginning nursing courses and realizing it was not the best fit for my skills set. I left to attend Western Carolina University and a degree that still allows me to benefit my community in a manner better suited to my abilities.
