During my internship at Ideal Vision Integration, I was part of the Motion Team, where I worked on integrating AI and voice recognition into Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines to enhance their functionality and usability. >Key Contributions & Achievements: ->AI Integration for AOI Assistance: Researched and evaluated different local AI models to enhance the AOI system. Selected and integrated the LLaMA model into the AOI machine, transforming it into a customizable AI-powered assistant. Designed the AI assistant to focus on FAQ-based support, helping operators and engineers quickly access relevant information. >Voice Recognition for Maintenance Automation: ->Implemented voice command functionality to allow technicians to perform maintenance tasks hands-free. Enabled testing of various sensors and servo motors through voice input, improving operational efficiency. >UI/UX Redesign for AOI Machine Software: ->Analyzed the existing AOI software interface and identified areas for improvement. Developed a modern and intuitive UI, enhancing user experience and accessibility. Through this experience, I gained hands-on expertise in AI model integration, voice recognition, UI/UX design, and automation within an industrial setting. It was a valuable opportunity to contribute to the advancement of smart AOI technology while refining my technical and problem-solving skills.
