Create and deliver sales presentations to multiple points of contact with client/agency personnel. Communicate with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders and arranging promotional events. Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts. Market local businesses using the indisputable power of cable television and online advertising. Peak performance winner in 2015 for Quarter 2 and Quarter 3, booking 200% of my total quarterly goals. Create innovative multimedia recommendations to local advertisers and advertising agencies that will integrate both branding & proof of performance strategies. Build effective cable schedules by targeting a specific demographic on a wide array of programming.

Interviewed members of the community on social issues and news events. Edited TV segments using Velocity, which aired statewide on 35 stations and cable systems.

Assisted with the preparation of grant applications, including letters of intent, proposal narratives and reports. Developed a communication plan to recognize, inform and engage donors throughout the year. Assisted in the coordination of LANO’s Annual Member Meeting including sponsorships, communications, promotional materials and logistics.

Researched stories and developed more than 12 shows for Newsbeat, Tiger TV. Played a key role in setting-up all aspects to the newsgathering operation for Tiger TV at Louisiana State University. Trained three aspiring reporters to maximize interviewing skills and editing software usage. Attended shoots and supervised multiple productions. Assisted reporters in the field including interviewing sources.

Interviewed and filmed students and faculty members about community issues, planned events and breaking news occurring in the Baton Rouge area. Wrote and edited one package weekly for 12 weeks using Edius and Audacity.

Edited a national newsletter for the Association of Educators in Journalism and Mass Communication using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
