Tasked to design and develop a complex interface to their external agencies. Also, led a team to develop 300 mail-merge letters, with complex links into the database. * Responsibilities included: * Analysing user requirements and designing the new interface to meet these requirements. * Production of Functional and Technical Specifications and ensuring sign-off by all interested parties. * Development and system testing of software. * Writing of user training scripts and performing user training, both on the new software and on expert use of OFFICE/400, the system word processor. * Technical consultancy and coordination of activity to produce mail merge letters and support of system testing phase. * Progress reporting to director level. * All work carried out to stringent Forward Trust development standards, including technical reviews of all program code produced.
