-Provide oversight for implementing the full prevention-treatment continuum through CMAM/IMAM protocols, as aligned with new WHO guidelines -Lead technical evidence generation and policy engagement strategies that will translate field data into costed national nutrition investment frameworks, facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue on sustainable financing mechanisms and health systems integration for wasting management.

Project Coordinator – Nutrition Overseeing implementation in Marsabit County

Coordinate the nutrition emergency response in Turkana and Baringo counties.  Providing technical support to ensure nutrition in emergencies interventions are aligned with World Vision Kenya, UNICEF and global standards  Monitoring emerging humanitarian and food security trends and potential socio‐economic and political instability to identify risks and strategies for preparedness and risk reduction before crisis occurs as basis for decision‐making  Develop and update key knowledge management tools on key components of nutrition in emergencies for better advocacy and programme implementation as part of county and sub‐county capacity strengthening efforts.  Implementing the BFCI approach in Turkana West, an integrated WASH software component geared towards Social behavior change towards adoption of proper nutrition practices amongst pregnant and lactating women and actualization of 1000 days in under‐fives.

*Responsibilities* -Support the implementation of nutrition activities, under health projects across the Coast Region. -Conduct baseline, mid-term, and end term evaluations for the health projects being implemented with the support of the region MEAL officer. -Coordinate the nutrition activities, and health activities across the Coast Region -Coordinate with the Regional Logistic officer on stock taking of the nutrition supplies and commodities, medical assortments and non -food items at the regional hub and ensuring their prepositioning to fill the needs gap in the region, during emergencies and the hospitals as an intervention. -Preparation of Weekly nutrition situation report in the region, activity reports, minutes of the meetings of the projects and programs from the inception stages to the project review stage reports. -Back-tracking the projects trainings during the orientations, material day sessions and report of the same to the Regional Nutrition officer. -Support the preparation of the inception reports, concept reports, periodic progress reports i.e. quarterly project progress reports, and annual reports showing achievements against planned targets as well as providing justifications for performance variances and areas of improvements. -Support the drafting of the County Nutrition Action Plan(CNAP), and coordination of the County Nutrition Technical Forum Meetings(CNTF) that bring together the key stakeholders in Nutrition and share performance, situation, achievements and discuss challenges and ways forward in the Counties across the region.

-Providing technical support in program design, development and implementation leeway of sustainable and livelihoods projects to consulting organisations and clients. - Training clients (local, and INGOs) on nutrition specific and nutrition sensitive interventions. -Support client program (nutrition) research, search strategy, data synthesis and Monitoring Evaluation assessment and learning.

As a healthcare professional, I provided comprehensive nutrition services, including leading ongoing nutrition education initiatives within the hospital setting and delivering personalized nutrition counseling and care to patients. I implemented targeted nutrition interventions to effectively manage various patient conditions. My professional development included specialized training in reproductive health, and I gained certification in cervical cancer screening assessment and procedures as part of Health Workers Cancer Week awareness initiatives.
