I live in the Boyne Valley which is rich in History and the Home of NEWGRANGE Burial Tomb which is one of only Two UNESCO. World Heritage sites in Ireland, The Tomb dates back to 3200bc and pre dates both Stonehenge and The Pyramids in Egypt, So if you are interested in History and you have not yet visited the Boyne Valley you Don't Know what you are Missing.
