I have over thirty years of experience in a wide range of IT services involving federal and regional government, telecommunications and leading IT support services firms. I have experience that includes direct knowledge and implementation skills of applications development, database management, maintenance, testing, and requirements identification with specific emphasis on reporting and communications with business customers, technical specialists, senior management, and IT security. I have led and managed multiple teams that were cross-functional and multi-disciplinary. I have functioned in positions of increasing IT technical and management responsibilities from programmer / analyst, database administrator, systems programmer, technical manager, senior project manager / project manager, and program manager. I am well versed in MS Office products, including MS Project, and have performed technical and management oversight of multiple projects and program initiatives, including schedule development, cost / budget assessment, and risk and issues management. I have obtained a MS degree, in Business and Management with a concentration in Information Systems and Operations Research from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. I also hold a BS degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Arts and Sciences. I have earned certification as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification.
