Contract Specialist - Petrochemicals and other oil and gas products.

Following the conclusion of my role with Global Energy and Veritaoil, I resumed practice with Tan Rajah & Cheah in a disputes role.

On sabbatical from Tan Rajah & Cheah, I became a sole legal counsel to a client in the oil and gas industry, focusing on contract negotiations and assisting them in their disputes. I oversaw contentious litigation and arbitration during this period.

Working at Tan Rajah & Cheah gave me a level of independence that allowed me to grow legal experience and knowledge in breadth and depth. In addition, working with and in opposition to learned friends from the Singapore Bar continued to grow my depth in the profession. In this role, I explored arbitration, mediation and negotiation in addition to my bread-and-butter practice in litigation.

Associate in the litigation and dispute resolution department. Focused on corporate derivative actions and expanded experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Beginning as a pupil and subsequently an associate, I was part of a litigation and dispute resolution team in the firm, assisting in matters at all levels of the Singapore Court system. This was a formative experience for me where I learnt to appreciate the way to approach and handle a dispute in a traditional way.
