Lead a team of engineers for the structural design of a number of large scale multi-use high-rise and long-span building development projects from the conceptual to the construction phase. Examples of the projects that I have lead or involved are: 1. Shenyang New World International Exhibition and Convention Center, China This project consists of a 6-storey 450x450m Expo podium with 2-storey basement, two 250m office towers, two 150m hotel towers and three 200m residential towers. The total Gross Floor Area (GFA) is about 1.2million m2. This project won the Commendation Merit of HKIE/IStructE Joint Structural Division Structural Excellence Award 2017. 2. Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion Part of the 141bn HKD new third runway project, expansion of the Terminal 2 includes a new basement and three new superstructures, and new APM lines to connect to the new concourse and the Skypier. 3. Guangzhou Cadre International TOD Center, China This Center consists of a 11-floor podium, one 270m high office tower and one 210m high hotel. It also connects the light rail station, the high speed train station, the subway station and the bus/coach/taxi station. The total GFA is 360k m2. 4. Nan Fung The Mills Additions and Alteration, Hong Kong Significant strengthening, alterations and upgrading of three 50-year-old factory buildings. Addition of a new roof garden. 5. Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Boundary Crossing Facilities A project with contract value of HKD$30bn to build an artificial island of 130 hectares of land and superstructures for the connection of Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel, Hong Kong Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Lantau Island. Provide technical review of the structural design of the seawall.
