Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing activities involving the auditing and investigating of government health care programs (Medicare and Medicaid), with a focus on program compliance, audit readiness, risk management, and conformity to internal controls. Also ensures strategies, requirements, and metrics are clearly understood; coordinates activities with other management; and leads staff that provides input to activities primarily in the area of benefit regulations.

Responsible for SIU management of personnel and operations with Markel's various insurance companies. This includes general oversight, compliance and investigative duties. Also responsible for vendor management, business intelligence, due diligence and special projects as it applies to SIU activities.
